Shocker Career Accelerator Services
The Career Module is designed for students and graduates to support career exploration and early professional growth. Users can learn about upcoming career fairs, schedule appointments with career advisors through the Shocker Career Accelerator program, and search for entry level job opportunities.

You control your visibility within Shocker Central. Certain profile information may be visible to students, alumni, or employers depending on your settings and how you choose to engage.

Will I receive emails or notifications from Shocker Central?
You may receive notifications related to messages, opportunities, or platform activity. Notification preferences can be customized in your account settings at any time. Additionally, if your profile is visible in the directory, you may receive emails to connect from other alumni through the platform.

Yes. Your profile, interests, and notification preferences can be updated at any time to reflect changes in your goals or availability.

Is participation in Shocker Central required?
No. Shocker Central is an optional resource. However, users who choose to engage gain access to additional connections, career resources, and opportunities.

No. While job and internship opportunities are available, Shocker Central also supports mentorship, networking, community engagement, and career development resources.
